new month

It is a new month here at SMU and we all know what time it is. Time to plant new flowers! It's not like the old flowers were dead or even look old, but the fact is they went out of style. Sure the campus is pretty, but do you really have to replant every single flowerbed every month? This seems a little extravagant to me. The worst part about this is they just throw the old flowers away. We spent a few thousand dollars to make this flower bed, but now it's not in style. So instead of relocating the old to make room for the new lets just throw them away. Yeah for being wasteful!

Sinse my moms birthday is towards the beginning of the month I'm thinking about going to one of the flower beds and taking a vast array of colorful flowers and give them to her for her birthday. You might say this would be stealing, but is it really stealing if they are just going to be thrown out the next day? It isn't like we didn't pay for them. I guarentee that any mother that got a card and some nice SMU flowers for her birthday would be happy. I seriously wonder how much money is dumped into landscaping every year. Sadly, one would never know because if the dean released this there would not be enough ambulances to take care of all the people having heart attacks. I guess this is kinda like the tootsie pop commercial. The world may never know.
